Kettle

Known to CDN as Kettle, though his handle was Invitation.

A crude and immature quarian who favoured the colour orange. He was a citizen of The Technocracy of Valkar, part of its small but enduring quarian demographic. He was born in Anjul, the capital.

Trivia[]

He made Urdnot Branka's "Nice List" at Christmas, because despite briefly convincing her that "qwubqwubs" were a thing and that she was being haunted by one, he was often funny - and he supported her in her role as El Presidente of CDN BattleTown.

Under the suit

He was known to Mekan of Omega as "Bucket McGucket", and to Ferem Baccath as "Annoying Orange".

Threads of Note[]

A Hive of Scum and Villany: The drug trade in the Terminus is where we might find the elusive and wily Kettle.

Guess I'll Say Hello Again: Reporting in on the new forum.

Liria: The issue of Liria T'Remi's arrest sees Kettle discussing, of all things, the Bahak System incident.

A Poll For Quarians: Kettle is in fact capable of serious conversation. Also, he butts heads with Nalia'Tonbay.

Quicksilver Palace: A trip on a relaxing cruise ship. Kettle gets drunk, and encounters a talking bird (read: Najhil Holken).

I Need Immediate Assistance: Hilarity for Kettle, as kinky sex for Nalia and Jacob goes terribly wrong.

Apologies: Blackmailed by Ket'Etal, Nalia has to make public apologies for her conduct.

The Lamentation of Man: Kettle meets Cerastes, Deadbeat (Prax) and Liria T'Remi on Cartagena. He actually manages to startle Cerastes, something few have accomplished.

Preachy Sack of Varren Dicks: That is, Nalia. After Nalia uses the incident of a victimized child as an excuse to indulge her tendency to moralize ruthlessly, Kettle puts her in her place through reminders of his blackmail material.

A Raid: Kettle is the victim of a break-in. Few people are concerned with Kettle's loss, though more than a few care about the penguin, and Nalia is concerned about the blackmail stash. The issue of kidnappings hits a nerve due to the Lydia issue. Kettle finds little sympathy.

The Vacation Train: A quarian get-together.

I'm Back: Kettle asks what he's missed.

Fishjolnir: Kettle acquires a fish on a stick, a CDN heirloom of sorts.

An automated message: The passing of Kettle is announced to the board.

Kettle Day

What Is Up?: On the anniversary of his death, the VI program returns to CDN, announcing the advent of Kettle Day.

Joyous Tidings: It is once again that time of year. The VI returns for Kettle Day.

Kettle Day Miracle: Its time cometh round, and this time "Kettle" looks to have netted someone...

Bar Troubles: The date proposed last year might go ahead... assuming Kettle's software shade can escape the confines of Aphin's Place.
