An elcor military unit, equivalent to special forces. One of a kind, the Ambling Twenty were a team of twenty elcor known as the best that Dekuuna has to offer. Traditionally, the number was kept at twenty, with replacements for casualties being selected from a small pool of elite elcor operatives. During the Reaper War, the Twenty was wiped out in its entirety. There are rumoured to be plans to revive the unit, but selecting candidates will take a while even by elcor standards -- opportunities for elcor "special forces" to prove themselves are relatively few and far between.
"Ambling", incidentally, is the nearest translation for the elcor term, which to their sensibilities implies nothing carefree but instead a daringly brave (yet far from reckless) persistence.
